Upcoming projects
At the moment, there are two large projects that demand all of my attention. You could say that these projects are polar opposites of one another, like robust and moving, heavy and light, static and dynamic. The way an old castle would stand against modern architecture.
The "Albrechtsburg" in Meissen (1471) (Germany), also known as the "Acropolis of Meissen", with its robust vertical build on a rock surface in a Gothic style and containing renaissance elements, by the master builder Arnold von Westfalen.
The "Liège-Guillemins" train station in Liège (2009) (Belgium) by the hand of architect Santiago Calatrava, also known as the "Cathedral of Modern Times", with her breezy and fluent arches that form the monumental roof of the central hall.
